Wedding

Hello to the best team in the NATION
 
A few people have asked about my daughter's wedding this past Sunday and I don't like to send anything non-Tupperware related but I thought a few people might also be curious about how it went.  It's kind of funny.  Like my Tupperware business,  I think I proved that you can be so very successful and not have any real idea what you are doing!!! What a beautiful mess.  People had a great time and it didn't matter that I wasn't a professional wedding organizer.  Everyone thought it was lovely.  Don't ever think that you have to be perfect, get it just right or know everything.  If you have a good attitude, work hard and just have a good time, people will be attracted to you and want to do what you do.  Trust me. 
 
It was so beautiful.  Everything that could go wrong did, but no one noticed but my family really.  We forgot the cake topper that I paid $80 for, the champagne flutes that I paid over $100 for , the projector so we couldn't play the slide show that I paid $200 to put together,....lets see.... We forgot the slow cooker, but someone else brought one,,,... We forgot the cake knives, paid about 75 for I think..my brother in law brought some that we still don't know where they came from so we did have something to use in the end......
.. Like I said a lot went wrong but you can go look at the photos and see how beautiful everything was anyway.  Check out the little G.I Joe guy and bride that Matt's little brother happened to have and he stuck it on the cake!!

Taco Soup

1 pound hamburger	1 can pinto beans	1 can kidney beans
1 can whole kernel corn	1 can diced Rotel tomatoes	2 cans stewed tomatoes
½ package taco seasoning mix	½ package Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix

Brown the hamburger in the oval microwave cooker. Place all ingredients in the 6 ½ cup Heat 'N Serve container and mix well (include the liquid from the vegetables). Microwave on high for 5 minutes. Questions regarding manager status

Shelia, hope you don't mind if I put these out for the whole team.  So many people can learn from your questions!  I love when people ask a lot of questions and I want everyone to benefit from them.  Hope this helps everyone!  We will talk more at team meeting or and at an NCO. 
 
 
1) you will not lose mgr status unless you don't have your 2K in team sales and/or your $500 in personal sales for more than 3 months in any calendar year.  You have 3 misses in any calendar year ( so even if you had missed 3 times, you would get a new start and clean slate starting Jan 1) but I don't think you will have a problem with that.  I am a little confused over your question and reference to Jan 08.  You will probably never be in jeopardy of losing manager status.  Not the way you sell TW!   You don't need any certain amount of recruits per month to keep mgr status.  You are suppose to have 3 active recruits but I have only seen demotions due to team sales in the manager or star manager positions.  You need your 3 personal qualified recruits to max out your bonus check each month but not to keep any position. 
 
2) They would go inactive after February so March 1st.  If they do go inactive, they have 8 months to do $250 to reactivate.  If they do not get $350 in sales w/in that 8 months, their account is closed and they are re-recruitable by anyone.  However, if they do "reactivate" they are not a "new recruit", just active.  Once you become active, you are never a new recruit again unless your account is closed and you rejoin Tupperware. 
 
3) I am not sure when she joined. You will have to check and make sure that her requirements we're $250 and not $300.  We have now gone to $300 every 4 months so you can just check and it will be in red and very obvious what her requirements are, 250 or 300 but this is how it works.  You have to have the $250 in a 4 month period.  SO if she did $180 in Dec, she has till the end of Mar to have the other $70 put in. 
 
The way that I remember is this.... We are now in December.... I look back 3 months.... Whatever that person had in the last 3 months.....(Sept/Oct/Nov)... I add what it takes to get to $250 and that's what they need by tomorrow night or they go inactive. 
 
4) If you have your 3 personal qualified recruits already for December, then you want her to qualify in Jan, which can be done in just a couple days.  When your recruits qualify is important only because your bonus check is paid at a percentage rate based on how many PQR's you have in that month and you always want it to be 3.  Otherwise you lose money and you can never get it back again or catch up in any way.  So if you have 3 in Dec, put her in and encourage her to buy what she is going to buy right away in January.  If not, put her in immediately and show her all the great deals that we have now like the surprise packs and get her qualified by tomorrow night and I would not worry at all about your manager status.  Any reasonable amount of activity will take care of that. 
 
With no activity, they will go inactive after Feb, like March 1st. 
 
You are suppose to have 3 active personal recruits as a manager but you are putting more personal shoppers in now so that should not be a problem, especially since you have the sales and that's how people get demoted - lack of sales, not lack of active recruits - unless you are in DIQ - that's the only time you get demoted for a lack of active recruits.  It's active recruits that get you promoted also, not "qualified".  People can activate anytime.  Qualifying only happens in the first 30 days. 
 
You always want 3 new personal qualified recruits each month to maximize your bonus check but you only need 3 active to promote to mgr, then you are suppose to have 3 to maintain manager but as long as you have the sales, they don't demote you.  You do need to keep recruiting though so you can move up to star manager with 6 personal active and then DIQ with 9 personal active so keep recruiting!  Don't worry about who you are losing if they are not selling

Hi Ladies - I hope you had a wonderful Christmas (and Debbie I am sure the wedding was beautiful and relieving at the same time)

I am entering a new recruit (personal shopper) tomorrow, Friday December 28.  My question is, I am in manager status through January 08 therefore, I believe it would be better for me to have her qualify in February rather than January as I am guaranteed Mgr status (provided I meet the $2K team sales each month) through January 08 with my initial 3 qualified recruits in October 07.  That was question #1.

2). I am still a little confused over this.  If a recruit qualified in October with $300 or more sales and then did no additional sales, when do they drop off?  February?  What is the time line for reactivation for them to qualify as a new recruit again? 

3).  Jacklyn is a true personal shopper, meaning she wants to maintain her active status; so she needs to have $250 in retail every 4 months, is that correct?  She put in $180 in retail December 07 so does she have through April to order another $70 on retail before she is considered inactive?  Or, does she have to have a total of $250 from November - February since she originally qualified in October 07?

4).  I have another interested personal shopper who I can convince to join December 28th for the better kit, but I only want to do this if it will help me for maintaining manager status February - May.  The $300 qualification should not be a problem, but again I need to make sure it is February I want her to qualify rather than January. 
 


Can either of you clarify this for me?

My initial 3 qualified recruits in October:
   ----- 2 will fall out as of February as there has been no activity
   ----- 1 would like to remain a personal shopper indefinitely

How many "new" and/or "reactivated" recruits do I need to have qualified in February 08?

My understanding is that come February, I need 3 new qualified recruits in order to maintain manager status.  I apologize for asking so many questions but I know while I am helping myself I am also helping my up line maintain and grow their levels as well.  Now that school is over, yippee, I have time to dedicate to Tupperware and I want to ensure I am maximizing my profits as well as yours and Tupperware's.

Make as many phone calls as you can today, Friday, Saturday and maybe Sunday, securing those January parties.  The more contact with hostesses and prospective hostesses, the better!  Most people are back to work now and even if they are not, it's appropriate, just let them know you are just "making a quick phone call to touch base and keep in touch".  I'm so excited about what TW has to offer all hostess in the first two weeks of January!!!!!  You want your friends to get this flyer - These are our BEST sales of the year but you will get so much for free, you probably wont even need to buy anything!
