Deb's large super oval pantry set

Helllo to the best team in the nation!

Sheila Whiggs and I have been talking about selling our favorite modular mates and I have been telling her what I sold last year and the year before and that it has always sold very well for me.  I don't sell the tower but it's a nice amount of retail and by all means if you have it, use it.  I have always done better with the super ovals and rectangles as I have my whole pantry done with them.

Oh yeah, Sheila, forgot to tell you that before I left, I had Dan snapped a couple pictures of my pantry and I passed around my phone at the party and that may have helped.  If your pantry is not done, this is the time to do it.  Even if you get it done by the end of the month, it will help you sell mod mates for years to come.  Whether it made a difference here,  I don't know.  Here is my experience today that I shared with Sheila.  By the way, Tammy came with me to observe today and she says that she learned a whole lot and anyone is always welcome to come along.  I did the same thing and followed Inke around when I was new at all of this.

Hey Sheila,
I had my party today and wanted to tell you about my sets that I sold.  I have done this for a couple Januarys now and it has really worked for me.  Okay today I only brought one super oval 2 with me - that's it.  Labeled with food in it.  I just decided to do that as I brought all those servailier bowls because I know people like them and I am only going to bring so much stuff - one bag of hostess stuff and my mod mate piece, one bag of cooking stuff and one bag that goes over my shoulder with all the paperwork.  Too much stuff discourages recruiting - who wants to lug all that around?

Okay if I had planned better (my daughter's are all gone and I have never totally packed for myself.  It took longer than I thought it would - my stuff was all over and it wont always take that long - had done a party in a month- I would have brought a sign.  Okay so my set is - 2 super oval pantry sets and a rectangle 2 and rectangle 3.  I showed them the picture of the one super oval pantry set on page 21 upper right, then said "double that" so 10 pieces.... It will take up twice the space... Then add a rectangle 2 and rectangle 3 for your larger bulk items - rect 2 's and 3's are the most popular size recs sold - and that's my extra large super oval pantry set with 12 big pieces and here's a super oval 2 just for reference.
It regularly sells for 178.00 and I sold them for $89.00 that's 50 % off so an extra 10 % off.  I think they would have sold easily for $99 and maybe for the full 106.00 retail.  I really don't need the profit and I probably took too much off.  Regularly 178.00 but only 106.00 just might work but 99 sounds so much better.  That's up to you.  Judi always marked her's way down but I don't' advise consultants to mark down any and I tell managers to take less off than me - you want high retail because you are getting a manager bonus.

There were only 4 people and  3 of the 4 bought it, - the other only had $20 in cash to spend - also each bought quick chefs and a couple other things.  So about 500 so far and she should do 1,000.  These we're people out in the country... No I mean country I had to drive for miles on a gravel road.  In Hempstead, not really too far but they we're only lower to average income.
Also dated 3 parties, recruited one but two plan to join (she gave me the phone number of someone else that wants to sell that couldn't come)  at their parties and seem even more interested but I think they have to get the money together.  So hopefully, I'll have 4 recruits that want to sell.  All dated within Jan.

My point is, if you made a sign, these will really sell.  You could bring a whole set - that's up to you -it probably wouldn't hurt.  Deb
